Described by Canadian Literature as “one of those rare poets who get the recipe of humanness exactly right,” Sasenarine Persaud will be reading from his latest books,
Love in a Time of Technology (recently shortlisted for the Guyana Prize for Literature) and
Lantana Strangling Ixora (also shortlisted for the Guyana Prize). Persaud, whose work has been published in several countries and is used in schools and universities in Canada, the Caribbean, India, Italy, South America, the UK and the US, will also talk about the writing process and answer questions on writers, writing and publishing.
