Gallery @ 2902: The Art Of Marium Rana
Marium Rana, artist and arts educator residing in Tampa, is a recent graduate from Florida State University where she received her BFA in Studio Art and a Masters in Art Education. Marium traveled to Lahore, Pakistan to study the traditional art of miniature painting and has created 21 miniatures, the Qalam Series, as result of this experience. These paintings and her most recent landscapes depict a longing for a place that does not quite exist, a fantasy between the past and present. They will be on display through August 31.
