Exploring the visual arts when very young, Peter Stilton began exhibiting and selling work while still in high school. He has been a full-time artist for three decades with over 40 solo shows in the US and France, including the La Sorbonne (University of Paris). His work is in private and corporate collections in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. Exhibit on display through April 30.

Kotler Art Gallery - Artistic Replicas by Lillie Liverpool
Lillie Liverpool is a lifelong resident of Tampa. A self-taught artist, Lillie specializes in extruded polystyrene foam replicas of commonplace objects like buildings, automobiles and musical instruments, bringing them to vivid life.

A reception with the artist will be held on Saturday, January 10th from 3-5 p.m. and funded by the Friends of the John F. Germany Public Library.

This program is part of the Library's Women's History Month celebration.

Upper Tampa Bay Regional Library Art Gallery: The Art of Marilyn Chaulk

A New England native and artist, living and painting in Palm Harbor, Florida, Marilyn Chaulk received a Bachelor of Art Degree from Simmons College in Boston.

She has said she's been fortunate to have enjoyed a career as a volunteer of the museum staff of gallery instructors of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, where the extensive training given by the department of education of the MFA and museum curators has given her invaluable insight and knowledge of art and art history.

After participating in an extensive training program, she is currently serving as a volunteer docent for the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida.

CoderDojo is a worldwide effort to provide a free, open environment to teach eager children about programming. Young people will learn how to code, develop websites, apps, programs, games and more from experienced mentors. A parent must attend with each CoderKid and a Windows laptop is recommended. Achieve higher scores on the math section of the S.A.T. exam by doing practice problems on a regular basis. In each session of this class students will solve between 30 and 35 problems. These two hour sessions place emphasis on Grid-In/Student Produced Response, an approach that encourages students to be more precise and eliminates guessing.
