The teaching artist for August is Samson Huang of Tampa, Florida. Samson is a multimedia artist who uses a combination of oil paints, watercolors, ink and digital tools to create pieces that have been exhibited nationally. Closer to home, you may have seen his work at the Tampa Museum of Art and the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts where he was recognized as one of 15 emerging artists to exhibit at the prestigious festival. Additionally, Samson has recently been juried into the inaugural exhibition at Crab Devil, opening in Fall of 2022.
Samson will lead the class through a watercolor painting with step-by-step instructions. No experience necessary!
